Sometimes when you use the search feature on Twitter, you end up finding something really cool.
That’s what happened when I searched “uniforms” on Twitter today and ended up spotting some Utah Utes football uniform concepts done up by @MPett3.
Utah currently has an Under Armour uniform design that is not very flattering. It doesn’t quite have a classic feel to it and it doesn’t have a modern look either.
The sublimated topographic pattern isn’t very flattering and doesn’t really do anything for these uniforms.
So, when I came across this uniform concept, I felt like this is headed in the right direction.
There are twelve different helmet concepts, three uniforms and a base layer.

The snowy mountain tops on the sleeves are a great touch and would be a big upgrade from the topographic map pattern.
I think a white helmet is definitely due for the Utes. It would give them some options and look very clean.
The black helmet on the other hand can go, unless they ad some white trim on it. The helmets in the concepts above give you a good taste of red, black, white as well as gray.
Overall, @MPett3 gives a breath of fresh air to the Utah Utes uniform and maybe we will see some of these ideas picked up by the Utes soon.
